About The Boy Child Advocacy

Founded in Lusaka in 2015, we work to protect, educate, mentor and advocate for the vulnerable boy child across Zambia.

Our Mission

To empower and support the boy child in Zambia through education, mentorship, and advocacy, creating a generation of responsible and empowered young men who contribute positively to society.

Our Vision

A Zambia where every boy child has equal opportunities to thrive, develop his potential, and become a positive force in his community.

Our Story

From a Lusaka initiative to a national movement

Founded in 2015, Boy Child Advocacy began as a small community initiative in Lusaka. Recognizing the unique challenges facing boys and young men in Zambia, our founders established this organization to address issues such as:

  • High dropout rates among boys in schools
  • Limited male role models in communities
  • Social pressures leading to risky behaviors
  • Lack of gender-specific support programs

Over the years, we've grown to operate in 5 provinces, reaching thousands of boys annually through our programs.
